Our futon mattresses and bases are hand crafted in our own dedicated factory situated locally in the greater Johannesburg area. We have dedicated ourselves to producing the best quality futons in South Africa using only the finest raw materials the country has to offer. Our factory team are dedicated to ensuring that every futon that leaves our floor is given the love and attention they need to ensure that our customers get only the best quality for their home or office.
Futons Online mattresses have an exterior fabric of bull denim which is 100% cotton and an internal polycotton filling (70% cotton | 30% polyester) and are available in 10 different colours - add an additional zip cover to allow colour flexibility and washability. The polyester is an important ingredient in aiding our futons to retain their volume and comfort - don't compact and become too hard - which allows them to support up to 100kg per person. Our futon bases are made from raw (sanded to smooth) untreated pine and are the centre piece that allows you to convert from couch to recliner to bed.
Most of our Futons Online clients get regular use up to 5 years out of their futon mattress but some use them for up to 10 years. It depends on a number of factors like weight of the user, how regularly their futon's are being used and how regularly they are turned.
Futon's are a great solution for those that are looking for something that is versatile, flexible and storable and are a fantastic for small spaces such as lofts, studio apartments and are even an excellent fit for a spare bedroom big or small.

Cape Town 3-4 working days for delivery
All other areas are 4-5 working days for delivery
Deliveries are made by our designated courier and are out of our immediate control (outsourced transporters). The above lead times are typical but may be affected by issues such as road closures, road works and other factors out of our control. Please provide an address where there will be someone present throughout the day to receive your delivery.
After receipt of order, your delivery will take between 2-5 working days, as this is dependent on stock and your area of delivery. Your Sales Consultant will keep you up to date in this regard and should there be any delays we will advise accordingly. Should you require your order within a specific time frame we suggest you contact us before placing your order to ensure we are able to meet your requirements. Waybill details will be sent to you once your order is ready to be dispatched.
